AFiUK & Yellow Submarine Fundraiser/Awareness Event
Friday, August 16th, 2019
AFIUK is a local charity that is unknown in the Oxford community that helps migrant families, not only from Nigeria, integrate into society and provides parenting classes to these parents. It also provides women groups to give emotional support, this charity not only helps the parents but the children by providing special care and homework and mentoring club. This charity is vital to many migrant families providing them a safe space in the community.
The Yellow Submarine is an award winning Oxfordshire charity that believes people with learning disabilities and autism deserve to live life to the full. Without the vital funding from donors and fundraisers like these, Yellow submarine would not be able to run new initiatives and provide majority of the projects.
We are raising money by holding a multicultural fete, including countries such as the Philippines, UK and Bangladesh. Anyone of any age is welcome to turn up to raise funds for the two charities!
