Combe Mill Steaming Day June 16th, Machinery in Steam
Sunday, June 16th
Combe Mill Steaming Days offer visitors a unique and special day out for all the family. Interactive, fun and educational for the kids and adults alike. We have a Cornish Boiler, Beam Engine and water wheel to name a few of the attractions plus an extraordinary opportunity to have a go at blacksmithing where you can get hands on. There is a find Millie the mill cat trail for the little ones. The volunteers have a wealth of knowledge and experience and are on hand to explain and answer questions. Also there is a bit of shopping, homemade cakes and tea at the tearoom and a lush meadow on the banks of the River Evenlode to picnic, where you might spot our local otter if you are lucky.
Trip Advisor comments include: “A real Hidden Gem” “Great day out - great value and lovely people” - why not come and find out for yourself
