Man arrested on suspicion of murdering teen in Oxford

A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Harun Jama in Oxford. 

A 34-year old man was arrested by Thames Valley Police in Liverpool on Friday on suspicion of murder and released on police bail until October 2nd. 

Harun Jama was stabbed to death in Friars Wharf on January 3rd 2018. 

The teenager, from Birmingham, died in hospital was found by emergency services on the towpath, close to the blue and white footbridge. 

Thames Valley Police made a renewed appeal for witnesses on the the anniversary of the murder at the start of this year.
