Two men stabbed during Didcot robbery

The offenders made off in the victims car in the early hours of the morning.

One of the victims was stabbed in the chest and suffered lacerations to his arm, hand and fingers. He's currently in hospital.

The second man was treated for a cut to his elbow.

Police say the robbery happened by the garages just off Freeman Road in Didcot at around 12:30am today.

A man in his twenties and a man in his thirties were sitting in a black Volkswagen Golf when two unknown men told them to get out of the car.

They were stabbed as they got out, and the offenders fled the scene in the stolen vehicle.

There's no descriptions of the offenders at the moment, but Police are appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Nathan Adby, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or who has information about what happened to please come forward.

“I’d also ask anyone who lives in the local area to check any CCTV or doorbell footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with this investigation.'

Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online or calling 101, quoting reference 43210348840.
